Capita Symonds has been delivering property and infrastructure
projects across the Channel Islands for over ten years and has an
in-depth understanding of the property needs of the local community
as well as the procedures of local government
departments.
Capita Symonds has played an integral role on a number of iconic
local schemes, providing project and cost management, construction
co-ordination, development monitoring and contract administration
services for both private and public sector organisations.
These include:
- Capita Fiduciary Fit-out – Capita Symonds were
responsible for the fit-out of Capita Groups new 22,000SF
headquarters building. Our role included due diligence of the base
build works, selection and co-ordination of the design team, cost
and programme management and site supervision.
- Kleinwort Benson Refurbishment Works – Capita
Symonds provided project and cost management, M&E design and
health & safety co-ordination for the phased refurbishment of
the air conditioning and fire alarm systems. The building remained
operational during the course of the works.
- Castle Quay – Is a major project comprising
384 apartments and 16 commercial units over basement parking.
Capita Symonds is acting as Development Monitors to the scheme’s
financiers - HSBC and Lloyds TSB.
- Jersey Airport – Capita Symonds has delivered
over £60m worth of infrastructure and fit-out projects at the
airport including resurfacing and strengthening the runway and
aprons, fit-out of the departures retail area, replacement of the
hold baggage system and building extension works all while keeping
the airport operational.
- States of Jersey and Guernsey – Capita Symonds
provide consultancy and site supervision along with environmental
monitoring to a number of key public sector and infrastructure
projects under a framework agreement in both jurisdictions.
