Capita Symonds is a Principal Corporate Member of the Wales
Millennium Centre in Cardiff.
Capita Symonds has a long established relationship with the
Centre - our architecture division designed both the Centre and
Phase 2 of the development, BBC Hoddinott Hall, home of BBC
National Orchestra of Wales, which opened in 2008.
As part of the sponsorship deal, we are also exclusive sponsor
of the Centre’s public, technical and architectural Guided Tours.
In partnership with Arts & Business Cymru, we also sponsored
Wales Millennium Centre’s free performance ‘Glanfa’ stage, known as
the ‘Capita Symonds Stage’, during the summer of 2009.
As well as being home to the BBC National Orchestra of Wales,
the Welsh National Opera and Diversions Dance Company of Wales, and
attracting major national and international touring companies, the
Centre has a strong community and education focus and is one of the
most unique and lively performing arts centres in Europe.
