Why Capita Symonds?

I did my research on Capita Symonds and a few companies within the same sector and they all seemed similar in what they offered and how they came across, but the deciding factor for me was the energy I got from the people at Capita Symonds.

What project(s) are you working on at the moment?

Currently I'm involved on several projects all of which aid in the development of different project management skills. These include BBC Framework (feasibility and construction projects for the BBC across its property portfolio), Scottish Re (office fit-out and property management) and a fit-out for TFS/TUK.

What opportunities have you had to train and develop your skills at Capita Symonds?

I had the opportunity to work in Jersey for six months. My remit was to support our local director in setting up a Channel Islands operation along with assisting him to provide project management services on the waterfront development. This was really helped me develop my skills in a lot of areas.

Academically, I have taken various courses such as APMP and will start an MBA in Construction & Real Estate in September.

What are your aspirations for the future?

To hold a senior position within Capita Symonds
