Why Capita Symonds?

I'm currently on a year's work placement as part of my Part II qualification. I had worked for Capita Symonds on a short placement between University terms the previous summer and had been surprised and satisfied at the experience that was offered to me as an undergraduate. As a postgraduate I returned to Capita Symonds and was again given the chance to get involved in exciting projects with an appropriate degree of responsibility, which is why I have remained here for the duration of my placement.

What project(s) are you working on at the moment?

I'm working on an office building for the Welsh Joint Education Committee (WJEC) and Cardiff's Sherman Theatre.

What opportunities have you had to train and/or develop your skills at Capita Symonds?

As a Part I Assistant, Capita Symonds has been my first experience of an office environment. My skills have developed in all regions of the profession because of the jump made from a University environment to an office environment.

What are your aspirations for the future?

I hope to go on to complete my Part II and Part III qualifications.
