Where appropriate, we provide funding and support so that our staff can learn new skills that help them in their everyday roles.
Through our parent company, The Capita Group Plc, our people also have the opportunity to develop themselves through a structured leadership and skills development programme, IMPACT. The programme begins with induction training, through skills development, to our leadership programme. There are currently 25 training programmes but these are constantly reviewed based on the feedback received.
Capita Symonds utilises a performance management system, allowing us to work in partnership with our employees in order to develop their career and recognise their achievements. At every annual appraisal, employees are asked to identify any specific training needs, or areas they wish to develop. This will form the basis of a training and development programme, to be reviewed regularly.

We regularly share case studies of 'success' stories from across our divisions, via our intranet and, every December we hold the Success Awards to reward the best examples of our culture in action over the previous year.
