Bespoke service
The type of advice we provide at strategic or
corporate level can be quite specific to a business or part of its
operation. In these instances, we often commence our involvement
through discussions with senior management or the SHE team to
establish their needs and requirements and to establish the most
appropriate way forwards. Following this we then frequently
undertake an internal review or audit to identify the current state
of policies, procedures and activities within the business.
This normally includes further targeted discussions with senior
management and relevant members of the workforce to understand the
company culture towards health and safety and how the business
operates in practice.
We recognise the importance of not only
providing adequate advice and support, but also working with the
client to find the right solution and method of implementation to
complement the organisation. Our bespoke service is often used
with clients that already have in place existing systems and
procedures but that want some additional support and advice to take
them to the next level.
Competent Person
As part of the above services, Capita Symonds
can provide its clients with the ‘competent person’ role under the
Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations.
OHSAS 18011/ HSG 65
Where required, the safety management systems
that we design and implement for our clients can be tailored to
reflect the requirements of OHSAS 18011 or HSG65 (Successful Health
and Safety Management), and we can support clients in their
achievement of
UKAS accreditation.
