Capita Symonds’ Alan Somervile will be speaking at the Industrial
& Power Association (IPA) Conference ‘Making Bioenergy Work’ at
Heriot Watt University Conference Centre in Edinburgh on Thursday
06 September.
Alan’s talk will be entitled ‘The Myths and Realities of the
Biomass Fuel Market’.
The Industrial & Power Association (IPA) is the ‘not for
profit’ Scottish based group which supports industry to establish
and maintain a secure and sustainable position in providing
technology, equipment and services to the power industry in the UK
and the world market.
The event will bring together developers, operators, investors
and supply chain players in the sector for networking and to hear
presentations on perennial sticking points such as consenting,
finance, feedstock and fuel supply, waste considerations and heat
offtake issues
