Capita Symonds has appointed Claire Drewery as Associate
Director, Acoustics – Scotland.
Claire joins the company from Hodgson &
Hodgson where she was Principal Consultant/Business Leader
responsible for providing a range of services to various clients -
such as Morgan Sindall, Berkeley Homes, Lovell, St James and
Barratts - including:
- Bespoke acoustic design advice for residential, commercial and
industrial applications;
- Providing assessment, control and monitoring for construction
site noise and vibration;
- Working on major planning applications for residential and
commercial developments;
- Assessment and control of industrial noise;
- Assessment and control of mechanical services noise;
- BB93 assessments for schools.
Claire has worked on numerous large scale
multi-use developments - including Gunwharf Quay, Portsmouth;
Caspian Wharf, London; and Bromyard Avenue, Acton - where a full
range of acoustic services has been required including initial
surveys for planning; noise/vibration chapters for environmental
statements; construction noise and vibration assessments;
assessment of building acoustics; mechanical services noise
(including in duct noise calculations); noise impact assessment;
and PCT.
She has also worked on smaller more
specialised projects such as recording studios and theatres.
