Capita Symonds has been awarded a place on all ten lots of the NHS
Shared Business Services (SBS) Framework for the provision of
estates services.
The four year framework, worth an anticipated
£1.3m pa, is available to all NHS Trusts but will also be available
to all other public bodies in the UK upon registration with NHS
SBS. The framework includes the full range of corporate real estate
services such as strategic support for front line services,
property transactions, advice on property portfolio management and
the development and disposal of surplus estate.
Capita Symonds, which scored 100% on a number
of the lots, making it the highest scoring supplier, is one of the
largest multifaceted suppliers for corporate real estate services.
The company is currently delivering over £1.6bn of estates
optimisation programmes, alongside management of in excess of £20bn
of property assets for a wide variety of fund managers, property
companies, public sector organisations, landed estates and
corporate occupiers.
The ten lots are as follows:
- Lot 1 - Acquisition of freehold and leasehold
property
- Lot 2 - Disposal of freehold and leasehold
property
- Lot 3 - Rent reviews
- Lot 4 - Lease breaks and lease expiries
- Lot 5 - Lease renewals
- Lot 6 - Dilapidations
- Lot 7 - Rating support services
- Lot 8 - Development of an estate
strategy
- Lot 9 - Valuations
- Lot 10 - General advice on estate and
property management
