Capita Symonds in Free Schools Win

29 November 2010

Capita Symonds has been appointed, on an interim basis, to be Technical Advisor for eight Free Schools across England.

The contract comes after a competitive tender through an existing Government framework agreement for Project Management and Full Design Team Services.

Free Schools are all-ability, state funded schools set up in response to parental demand.  As part of the reforms introduced by the new Coalition Government, the Secretary of State for Education has invited groups interested in setting up a Free School to come forward and start developing their proposals.
