Capita Symonds’ Infrastructure PFI/PPP team has been appointed to
act for the funders to the concessionaire - The Chinook Roads
Partnership – for the CAD450m South East Stoney Trail (SEST) road
project in Calgary, Canada.
Over the next four years Capita Symonds will
provide technical advice on the design, construction and entry into
service of the project which involves 25 km of new dual three lane
highway. Capita Symonds’ role will also include overseeing the
operation and life cycle maintenance, over the next 30 years, of
the new highway as well as 12 km of the existing Deerfoot Trail
Highway.
Construction on the project began in April
2010 with completion expected late 2013.
