Capita Symonds has expanded its Markets team with the
appointment of two new Directors: Charlie Wardroper, Director of
Office Agency, and John Burnside, Investment Director,
Retail.
Charlie Wardroper’s role will be to develop central London
agency business while servicing leasing instructions and
acquisitions on behalf of key clients. John Burnside, meanwhile,
will lead retail investment agency activity across the UK, growing
this important sector within Capita Symonds’ business.
Alan Dornford, Director of Markets for Capita Symonds Real
Estate, said: “These appointments are great news as they bring
additional experience and energy to Capita Symonds’ Real Estate
Division. Charlie Wardroper and John Burnside have a vast level of
knowledge and experience which will complement the existing Markets
team and they will be pivotal in supporting our growth as we look
to gain market share in key sectors.”
Charlie Wardroper (pictured, right) brings 25
years' experience in commercial property to the role, with
experience of transactions stretching across the UK and
internationally. His experience is primarily office agency and
development, advising landlords and occupiers both in central
London and the national markets.
Most recently Charlie was Managing Director of CB Richard Ellis’
Poland business and was previously Managing Director of CB Richard
Ellis’ north east business, based in Leeds.
John Burnside (pictured, left) most recently worked for
DTZ, where he was responsible for the UK High Street Retail
Investment agency team. Previously, he was a partner with
Donaldsons, working in the national investment agency team - with a
strong retail focus - from 1998 to 2007, prior to Donaldsons'
acquisition by DTZ.
John will join Capita Symonds in January 2012.
