Simon Raper has joined Capita Symonds’ Strategic Property
& Workplace Projects team as Associate
Director.
He joins the company from S2F Pty Ltd - a
leading architectural firm based in Australia - where he was a
Project Director and Head of Office in Sydney.
Simon has almost 24 years experience across
the fields of architecture, interior architecture and workplace
design, developing a creative and fluid approach to the delivery of
strategic workplace solutions, change management and business
change consultancy services.
He has worked on numerous projects across the
EMEA, USA, China and Australia, including directing a $2bn project
for the Australian Department of Defence in Australia that
delivered 120 new buildings and facilities across two sites in New
South Wales for the training and development of the Infantry and
Special Forces.
Simon has also managed a number of global
commercial property portfolios for blue chip organisations such as
the Royal Bank of Scotland Group and PricewaterhouseCoopers. His
role included providing strategic project leadership and workplace
and interior design direction on many large scale business
transformation projects, leading the way in ‘new ways of working’
through applying proven methodologies and approaches to often
complex and technically driven real estate issues.
Simon’s creative approach has seen him deliver
successful projects across a number of sectors such as commercial
office, education, healthcare, laboratories, pharmaceuticals and
defence.
Capita Symonds’ Strategic Property &
Workplace Projects team – part of the Consulting team in the
company’s Real Estate Division – develops and implements innovative
workplace environments for clients including the BBC, Network Rail
and Central & North West London NHS Foundation Trust.

Simon is also a Fellow of the Chartered
Society of Designers.
