Capita Symonds’ graduate business skills programme - ‘BusinessWise’
- saw 18 graduates attend a two day residential at Lledr Hall in
Snowdonia National Park recently.
Despite the rain, graduates thoroughly enjoyed
their visit and the opportunity to network with colleagues from
around the business. Participants undertook a series of challenges
throughout their stay to help improve teamworking and leadership
skills including cracking codes, completing assault courses and the
final challenge of building a new corporate headquarters and
catering for the opening ceremony.
Graham Cowley, Chief Operating Officer of
Capita Symonds, also travelled to Lledr Hall to deliver a
presentation on his past and present working life to inspire
graduates to progress their career with the business.
The residential forms part of the first Module
‘Effective Management’. Graduates will complete four modules over a
two year period in order to achieve a Postgraduate Certificate in
Business Performance Management with the University of
Salford.
BusinessWise will open for new graduate
applicants in summer 2011, with successful students joining the
programme when it is launched in October.
