Capita Symonds will be Bristol Rugby’s Main Sponsor for the
forthcoming 2010/11 season.
The company, which has been the club’s
Official Partner Sponsor since 2004, employs around 150 people in
two Bristol offices at Portishead and Clifton.
Capita Symonds has played a key role on a
number of major projects in the area in recent years, including
Merchants’ Academy, Cabot Circus, Oasis Academy Bristol, SS Great
Britain and Bristol University.
The new sponsorship deal will see Capita
Symonds branding on the home and away shirt and official Bristol
Rugby merchandise, as well as on banners and signage at the
Memorial Stadium.
...we have had more commercial interest than previous years. It is a real sign of the standing of this club within the city and long may that continue.
Bristol Rugby CEO Steve Gorvett commented on
the new strip and continued support of the club from commercial
partners: "The hoops have always been a favourite with the club's
supporters, and for that reason, we've returned to the design. The
home strip stays true to Bristol's traditional blue and white,
while the away strip will be red."
"Many of the shirt sponsors have increased
their support of the club from last season which is a very positive
sign. We've actually found that despite the disappointment of last
season, we have had more commercial interest than previous years.
It is a real sign of the standing of this club within the city
and long may that continue."
The English Championship season kicks off on
Saturday 28th August with Bristol playing host to Rotherham Titans.
