The project
Capita Symonds was appointed as
Independent Certifier on the Bristol City Council's
Building Schools for the Future (BSF) scheme, which comprises
the construction of four new schools or colleges:
- Brislington Enterprise College
- Hartcliffe Education Campus
- Bristol Brunel Academy
- Bristol Metropolitan College
Reporting to the Local Education Partnership
(LEP), Capita Symonds acted as the representative of the client on
matters relating to design, construction, finishing and completion
and sign-off of the projects. Working as a part of the project
team, Capita Symonds assured that each project complied with the
agreed design data and contract requirements.
Capita Symonds' flexibility to adapt to
specialist requirements and our wide-ranging in-house professional
skills base was crucial in the successful delivery of the
project.
