The project
Capita Symonds was commissioned by the
Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority to assist with the site
survey (geotechnical, topographical and ecological) of two section
of the Pennine Bridleway within the National Park.
Following this site survey work our
Countryside Services team undertook the preparation of detailed
route design, the landscape and visual Impact assessment (along
with ZVI and photomontages). The technical aspects of the
application were condensed into a non technical summary for the
benefit of non professionals.
Once the design was complete the team prepared
the planning application on behalf of the client, including the
production of the design and access statement.
Due to the sensitivity of the sites concerned
a great deal of detailed information was produced to support the
applications and effort made to ensure information was accessible
to a non technical audience.
