The project
Capita Symonds was commissioned by the
Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority to assist with route
selection and evaluation.
Once a preferred route was identified
negotiation were undertaken with the landowners. Our land agents
initiated compensation negotiation and, once agreed, the relevant
agreements and orders were produced.
Route selection often involved looking at a
number of potential route and assessing viability including
landowners attitudes, highway safety, ecological and archaeological
issues along with landscape and visual impact.
