Plan
Provides an understanding of health, safety,
welfare, as well as the legal responsibilities relevant to work
activities. Supervisors will gain the necessary
knowledge and skills to supervise workers effectively and promote
health and safety within their teams.
OBJECTIVES
Delegates will be able To:
- Appreciate their corporate and personal
responsibilities under current health and safety law
- Identify health and safety risks to staff and
others;
- Be aware of how to manage those risks;
- Be aware of the importance of organising and
managing safety on site;
- Understand the importance of personal safety
in practical terms;
- Learn how to promote health and safety to
supervise effectively.
